The Role

As a Solutions Engineer you’ll be the technical heartbeat of our customer engagements, translating ambitious ideas into production-ready solutions. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Revenue, you will shape both what we build and how we bring it to market—crafting demos, scoping integrations, and turning “what if” into “shipped.” Your fingerprints will be on strategy decks one day and on Python notebooks the next.

Your Mission

Become the trusted technical advisor for Targun’s prospects and customers. Through code, architecture diagrams, and candid conversations, you’ll show how our platform collapses weeks of manual work into minutes—while feeding real-world feedback straight back to the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value projects with enterprise and developer customers.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable inputs for Product & Engineering.
  • Prototype integrations and reference implementations that showcase measurable business impact.
  • Stay on top of AI, DevOps, and supply-chain tech trends; share insights to influence our strategy.
  • Deliver workshops, webinars, and occasional conference talks to represent Targun’s technical voice.
  • Travel periodically (<25%) for key customer on-sites, kickoffs, and team summits.

Skills & Experience

  • Comfortable in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, sales engineering, or similar).
  • Hands-on software engineering background—comfortable reading production-level code.
  • Ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and communicate trade-offs to both execs & engineers.
  • Working knowledge of machine-learning fundamentals and modern LLM tooling.
  • Empathy and curiosity—you seek first to understand, then to solve.
